Our Summer Camp season is full of fun with our Farm Camp at our Dickson-Murst Farm in Montgomery the last week of June and multiple sessions of Nature on the Farm Camps for early and late elementary schoolers at our McDonald Farm headquarters in Naperville.

Nature On The Farm Camps, Naperville

Our week-long, half-day Nature on the Farm Camps at the McDonald Farm in South Naperville will provide your child the opportunity to enjoy fresh air and sunshine while exploring a unique oasis of green in the middle of the suburbs. Explore our native prairie, woodland and pond habitats as well as learn to grow healthy, organic food at our Green Earth Harvest organic farm. Through nature exploration, gardening, games, activities, and crafts, children will experience and learn from nature. Camps are unique each month and attuned to what is growing and thriving at that time, so sign up for one week or both! Enjoy a themed, nut-free healthy snack provided each day.

Camp runs from 9am-12pm each day.

Cost of camp is $145 per child (10% discount for current members of The Conservation Foundation)

Farm Camp at the Dickson-Murst Farm, Montgomery

This week-long day camp for incoming third through sixth graders will introduce your child to both the historic and modern methods and aspects of farming and farm family life with the backdrop of the historic Dickson-Murst farmstead.  Educators from The Conservation Foundation, Kendall County Outdoor Education Cooperative, and Kendall County Ag in the Classroom will be joined by volunteers from our Dickson-Murst Farm Partners to guide campers through a wide variety of activities, crafts, demonstrations, hands-on learning opportunities and ways to get dirt on their boots! The rural lifestyle is a part of our region’s cultural heritage, but we have become further and further removed from that heritage as the area has developed and modernized.
Help your child get in touch with the past
and where their food comes from!

Cost is $150 per camper.

Camp is from 9am to 3pm daily, June 22nd through June 26th.
