1 pound fresh green beans, cut in 2-inch pieces
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1/8 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup fresh ripe blackberries, room temperature
salt and black pepper to taste
Place beans in a steamer basket placed n a saucepan with 1-inch of water. Sprinkle beans with oregano, celery salt and onion powder. Cover and bring to a boil over high heat. Stem 5 minutes, then remove from steamer basket and place in a bowl. Gently fold in blackberries, allowing heat from the beans to pull out their juices. Season to taste and serve.
