Lisa O’Brien is an Environmental Educator with The Conservation Foundation. She taught high school science (Chemistry and Environmental Science) before becoming a naturalist. Her expertise is in environmental education in schools. She has developed and taught programs for pre-school and K-12 classrooms and has a passion for engaging everyone in her love for nature.
Lisa has volunteered and served on the Boards for the Youth Symphony of DuPage and HorsePower Therapeutic Riding. She is on the leadership team for Kane County Certified Naturalists and strives to use her talents to help causes which support education and environmental awareness.
Ms. O’Brien has two daughters and resides in DuPage county with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking and riding her horse.
