After serving as Office Manager and Development and Program Associate, Jill Johnson is now the Marketing Communications Manager at The Conservation Foundation. Jill is managing editor of The Heron magazine, manages our website and media outreach, and works very closely with other members of our Development team to plan major events, work on donor stewardship, and collaborate on organization communications.

She also assists program staff in promoting their programs and planning events and seminars.

Jill is a graduate of North Central College in Naperville with degrees in Sociology and Religious Studies and following graduation worked there as an Admission Counselor before joining the TCF staff. She grew up on a farm near Yorkville and is the daughter of Bonnie (Henne) Johnson, who is a member of The Conservation Foundation’s Advisory Council. A native of Kendall County, Jill lives with her husband Jeff and their young daughters Adelaide and Ferne in the small Kendall County town of Newark. Jill enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, antiquing and road trips, especially to the Rocky Mountains.
