Jennifer joined the foundation’s staff in 1998; she earned Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology from the University of Illinois in Chicago.

She has several years of experience at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency where she coordinated various watershed management programs.

She has worked with all federal, state and local government agencies involved in watershed management, as well as numerous citizen-based watershed efforts.

In particular, she has been strongly involved in the development of the Upper DuPage River Watershed Plan.

She has also been involved in the watershed planning processes of numerous other watershed groups including the Blackberry Creek Watershed Planning Committee, Nippersink Creek Watershed Planning Committee, the Fox River Ecosystem Partnership, the North Branch Chicago River Watershed Committee, the Salt Creek Watershed Network, the Waubonsie Creek Watershed Resource Planning Committee, and others.

As a result of her past experiences, Jennifer is very knowledgeable of granting opportunities available for watershed protection, the watershed planning process, and data collection techniques.
