Natives in Autumn Splendor!

September 7, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

This fall garden walk, held at River Park in Geneva, IL, is the last of the three-part series on landscaping with native plants led by Trish Beckjord, Program Manager of TCF’s Fox River Initiative.  The series is jointly sponsored by the Kane County Forest Preserve District, St. Charles Park District and Geneva Park District as part of their advertised Learn From the Experts programs.  The walk will showcase later blooming native plants and the importance of seasonal progression of flowering relative to pollinators.  The applicability of some natives we will see for residential gardens will also be highlighted.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required. The event is $10 per person.

9:00-11:00 a.m or 1:00-3:00 p.m. (choose one time slot)

Please call 630-444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register.
