DuPage County Earth Day Gathering
April 8, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm$125
Join us on Thursday, April 8th at our DuPage County Earth Day Gathering for food and drinks, LIVE MUSIC (ohhh haven’t we been missing that!!) and a cozy evening around a campfire where we can toast marshmallows, toast each other (from a safe distance), celebrate the hard-earned bright spots and wisdom we have gained through the challenges of the past year, and rekindle our inner sparks to light up the future.
We’ll be gathering at St. James Farm to enjoy live jazz by The Conservation Quartet, a beer, glass of wine or other beverage in hand, and indulging in savory heavy hors d’ oeuvres. Dress comfortably in preparation for a casual vibe and evening spent outdoors. Masks and social distancing will be required for everyone’s safety and comfort.
Tickets are $125/person and the event is limited to 50 people.
in Warrenville was the family estate of The Conservation Foundation’s founder, Brooks McCormick, until his death in 2006 when it passed to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. With 2.3 miles of restored Spring Brook Creek winding through its 600 acres, St. James Farm is home to more than 300 native plant and wildlife species, including great blue herons, red-bellied woodpeckers, white-breasted nuthatches, coyotes, fox squirrels and white-tailed deer. We’ll be spending our evening outside of the Riding Arena, which Brooks and his wife Hope built on the property and used for black-tie gatherings and equestrian events.
Thank you to our gracious hosts at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County for making this acclaimed venue available to us!
