With the announcement that our Ellen Soukup is pursuing an opportunity closer to home so she can spend more time with her growing family (Baby Soukup #2 coming this winter!), we’re looking for an organized and driven Accountant/Business Manager to join our growing team at The Conservation Foundation. The Accountant/Business Manager will handle day-to-day accounting, finance and office management. Excellent organizational and communication skills are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer/vendor relations. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. We’re an energetic group and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization.
This is a full time position that reports directly to our President/CEO and is based out of headquarters at the McDonald Farm in Naperville. Duties include financial and business management tasks like processing payroll, tracking income and expenses, managing and paying vendors, ordering office equipment and supplies, managing human resources, insurance and other employee benefits, attending and helping to coordinate meetings of our Board of Trustees and managing a regular review of our finances with the Finance Committee of the Board.
