A Fox River Testimony Selected Works at Elgin History Museum
September 13, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - November 15, 2019 @ 4:00 pm
Don’t miss the last exhibit of selected works from A Fox River Testimony, the collection of original Fox River paintings by plein air artist Joel Sheesley as part of our Art of the Fox program.
About 30 of the 90+ paintings Joel created in his two years travelling up and down the Fox River are currently on display at the Elgin History Museum through November 15th. The Elgin History Museum is located at 360 Park Street in Elgin, and is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11am to 4pm. To learn more about the museum, click here.
We have so enjoyed our collaboration with artist Joel Sheesley on this project, and all of the people we have met along the way who share our love of the Fox River. And we hope others have come to love the Fox through this project as well; that was, after all, our shared intent.
