Why We Need The Fox River Lecture by President/CEO Brook McDonald

As part of our Fox River Initiative and the Fox River Testimony exhibit at the Schingoethe Center of Aurora University, our President/CEO Brook McDonald will be delivering a talk on October 18th, 7pm to answer the question, "Why does The Conservation Foundation care about the Fox River?"

"How can we NOT care about the Fox River?" says Brook. "It is such an important natural and cultural feature to our landscape, and one of the larger watersheds in our region."

Brook will take us on a virtual quick trip down the river to discover how its character changes as you travel downstream. The discussion will also include the river's beauty, ecology and why we need to work to protect it for future generations, and will close with Brook's personal perspective on what the Fox River means to him.

This event will take place in the Tapper Recital Hall at Aurora University.
